Shaun's favourite tech this week is Xiaomi’s CyberOne humanoid robot. The official CyberOne promo video is worth a giggle for how slow the robot walks, yet it’s a huge leap forward in terms of what the Xiaomi Robotics Lab is working on.

Disney has surpassed Netflix in revealing a total of 221 million streaming subscribers, compared to Netflix’s 220.7 million. The company has also announced it will launch a Disney+ service that includes advertising in December 2022.
Facebook will begin testing end-to-end encryption as the default option for some Messenger app users on Android and iOS. Users currently have to opt in to make their messages end-to-end encrypted.
Software supplier Advanced, which provides services for the NHS 111, recently confirmed that it had been hit by a ransomware attack. Patient data could have been stolen.
Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has announced that its robotics firm will form the foundations of the Boston Dynamics AI Institute. Hyundai acquired Boston Dynamics in 2020. The new launch is being funded by a $400m investment.
